We have just released v1.2.0 of AlphaBank Payment Gateway extension for Magento 2. This is a feature release. Please upgrade to get the new features.
What’s new:
- The payment method can now be limited by client IP address.
- It is now possible to simulate payments without using AlphaBank’s test environment
Simulated Payments
There are time while testing that you need to make a payment to get to the feature or modification that you want to test. Test mode is a great way to make dummy payments without actually transferring any money, but it has its limitations. For one, the amounts payed have to be really small for it to work. Additionally, AlphaBank tends to disable access to their test environment once initial integration testing is finished. This means that if you later want to do some changes and need to test again, you have to request that your access to the test environment be restored, which may take some time. Or perhaps you do not yet have your test account credentials.
Don’t worry, you can still run your tests using simulated payments. Simulated payments do not connect to any external service, so you can use this feature anytime you like, with any amount you require, even when you are offline. You should of course test with AlphaBank’s test environment as well, but you can do the bulk of your testing with simulated payments.
